Well indeed what has been happening!

Firstly the biggest news, I have been accepted by 3 photo agencies as a stock contributor, spreading the Footprints literally all around the world.

I have also been photographing, shock horror, people....... I have recently photographed for the Mayor of New Romney both her International Womens Day Diner and also the New Romney Commonwealth Flag Ceremony.

Lastly I have photograghed my first 'Fun Photo Booth' for an old school friend of mine (sorry she is not old but we have been friends for a long long time!) and what fun it was, photos with hats, wigs, masks and a big big frame.

Speakers Day Hythe

On 3rd October I was honoured to be asked by the Mayor of Hythe to be his photographer for Speakers' Day (yes I know me photographing people again!!).

I am happy to say it was a wonderful day full of amazing robes, uniforms and pomp and with some fine shots which I will be sharing soon.

long time no blog

OK so its officially ages since I have posted any news, this doesn't mean to say I havn't been taking photos though.  This week I had all good intentions as I am working away in France so would have plenty of time on my hands in the evenings and no distractions that I have at home.

Epic fail though the memory stick which I had placed the photos on to upload is empty..... so nothing to add for now, sorry chaps, however I will continue to photograph 'en France' and share when I am home!

In an attempt to find some more nice things to take a few pics off I winged it away to Palm Island in the Grenadines.

Palm Island is an oasis of tropical serenity located on the southern tip of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, an idyllic archipelago of 32 tropical island and cays known for its stunning natural beauty. It has an area of 135 acres (0.55 km2) and has five beaches.

Originally known as Prune Island, Palm Island got its current name when the former owners, the late John Caldwell ("Johnny Coconut") and his wife Mary, planted hundreds of coconut palms, transforming the deserted, swampy, and mosquito infested island into a palm covered one.

Photos will be posted soon :-)

Speakers Day New Romney 2014

On Saturday 4th October 2014 I was pleased and honoured to make a photographic record of Speakers Day which was held in New Romney, it was an amazing day that included a mix of pomp and pageantry and celebratory music.

The office of Speaker is an ancient jurisdiction and an honour that has been bestowed in political and civic life since as far back as the 12th Century. The office of Speaker of the Cinque Ports has traditionally been rotated amongst the five head ports and two antient towns.

I have also created a page of the daly with a bit more history of Speakers Day, more images will be added soon.

Photos for the Mayor!

Last month Right Worshipful The Mayor of New Romney very kindly asked me to photograph for him some bottles of wine which he will have for sale for the Mayors Charity Fund, some very pleasing results I think.

To purchase the wine just pop into the townhall in New Romney
